How can I fundraise for The Smallest Things?

You can support the work of the Smallest Things and help us make a difference for families with premature babies through a range of fundraising options or create your own. Whatever you’re planning, tell us about it and we’ll support you all the way.

1. Get sporty!

Help support our work and fundraise for us by participating in a running or sporting event across the UK. There are two different ways you can do this:

  • Secure the place yourself then decide to fundraise for us.

  • You can apply for one of our funded places and fundraise a minimum amount of £250. A list of our current events, some with funded places, is available here.

2. Hold a fun day, bake sale or coffee morning

You could organise a family fun day, get friends or colleagues together to have a cake sale or organise a coffee morning for your family.

Simply pick a date, venue and theme for your event and we’ll support you all the way with information and advice as well as sharing your event across our communication and social media channels.

When you’ve decided on your event, send us all the details to register your event with us and we’ll start supporting you.

On the last weekend of June we encourage family and friends of those born premature to host and organise a charity picnic. Would you like to be a host on 27 or 28 June 2020?

3. Set up a regular donation

If you don’t have a lot of time but want to support us you could set up a regular payment to The Smallest Things from your bank. Just contact us to let us know how much you would like to donate and we can provide our bank details. Whether it’s £1 or £20 per month, every penny makes a difference.

4. Make a one-off donation

You may decide to support us with a one-off donation or you may have lost a child or family member and wish to make a donation in their name. Click here to donate.
